The Opportunity:

As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) - Eastern Canada for CSL Vifor, you will report directly into the Head of Sales, and evolve in a start-up work environment where trust, expertise, and accountability prevail. You will lead a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to grow sales by managing resources, funds, and working closely with internal and external partners to support brand and corporate goals. Your leadership style will constantly inspire team members and ignite their desire to succeed.

Your team will be responsible for the promotion of Ferinject for patients with Iron Deficiency (ID) or Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) in hospital and community accounts located in assigned geographies. Your team will establish and maintain a strong sales presence in the field with the goal of promoting our interests and product(s) to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and other relevant customers or groups. In the future, other products may be added to your portfolio.

The Role:
  • Contribute to shape the regional and national strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Business Intelligence, and other internal and external partners to achieve regional and national goals
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the business across the region
  • Drive the strategic and tactical business plan at regional level. At least once a year, conduct a regional SWOT analysis, analyze data as well as elaborate and implement a regional business plan
  • Adhere to assigned regional operational budget, and manage funds and resources towards maximizing sales and ROI
  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop Area Sales Managers
  • Communicate effectively, provide guidance, and coach team members in order to reach regional goals
  • Establish meaningful regional goals, and KPIs, and hold team members accountable to them
  • Assess each Area Sales Manager's performance via regular timely feedback, and through the official internal process. Recognize and reward team members on a regular basis
  • Build and maintain professional and productive business relationships with a few key customers
  • Ensure team's quality data entry into the CRM system and its regular synchronization

Your Competencies and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience as a senior sales manager (people manager) within the specialty pharma/biotech industry OR 10+ years of specialty pharma/biotech sales experience, including 3+ years in the Nephrology or IV iron business landscape
  • Experience in hospital formulary listing and protocol development is an asset (hospital ecosystem understanding)
  • Experience in Hematology, Nephrology, Gynecology, Cardiology, or Blood Conservation Management is an asset (therapeutic field knowledge)
  • For the RSM - Eastern Canada position: French (spoken and written) of high proficiency is a must; and candidate must be functional in English (spoken and written)
Additional Comments: Role requires you to have a valid driver's license. You will reside in your assigned region, travel approximately 25 % to 50 % of the time, including some weekends on occasion.

Votre équipe sera responsable de la promotion de Ferinject pour les patients atteints de carence en fer (ID) ou d'anémie ferriprive (IDA) dans les comptes hospitaliers et communautaires situés dans les zones géographiques assignées. Votre équipe établira et maintiendra une forte présence commerciale sur le terrain dans le but de promouvoir nos intérêts et nos produits auprès des professionnels de la santé et d'autres clients ou groupes concernés. Dans l'avenir, d'autres produits pourraient être rajoutés à votre portfolio.

Le rĂ´le:
  • Contribuer Ă  façonner les stratĂ©gies rĂ©gionales et nationales
  • Collaborer avec le marketing, les affaires mĂ©dicales, Business Intelligence et d'autres partenaires internes et externes pour atteindre les objectifs rĂ©gionaux et nationaux
  • DĂ©velopper et maintenir une comprĂ©hension approfondie des affaires dans la rĂ©gion
  • Piloter le plan d'affaires stratĂ©gique et tactique au niveau rĂ©gional. Au moins une fois par an, effectuer une analyse SWOT rĂ©gionale, analyser les donnĂ©es ainsi qu'Ă©laborer et mettre en Ĺ“uvre un plan d'affaires rĂ©gional
  • Respecter le budget opĂ©rationnel rĂ©gional attribuĂ© et gĂ©rer les fonds et les ressources afin de maximiser les ventes et le retour sur investissement
  • Recruter, embaucher, former et dĂ©velopper les gestionnaires des ventes rĂ©gionales
  • Communiquer efficacement, fournir des conseils et encadrer les membres de l'Ă©quipe afin d'atteindre les objectifs rĂ©gionaux
  • Établir des objectifs rĂ©gionaux significatifs et des KPI, et tenir les membres de l'Ă©quipe responsables Ă  leur Ă©gard
  • Évaluez les performances de chaque gestionnaire des ventes rĂ©gionales via une rĂ©troaction rĂ©gulière en temps opportun et en utilisant le processus interne officiel. ReconnaĂ®tre et rĂ©compenser rĂ©gulièrement les membres de l'Ă©quipe
  • Établir et entretenir des relations commerciales professionnelles et productives avec quelques clients clĂ©s
  • Assurer la qualitĂ© de la saisie des donnĂ©es de l'Ă©quipe dans le système CRM et sa synchronisation rĂ©gulière

Vos compétences et expérience :
  • BaccalaurĂ©at
  • 7+ annĂ©es d'expĂ©rience en tant que chef senior des ventes en spĂ©cialitĂ© (responsable du personnel) au sein de l'industrie pharmaceutique/biotechnologique OU 10+ annĂ©es d'expĂ©rience dans la vente en spĂ©cialitĂ© de produits pharmaceutiques/biotechnologiques, dont 3+ annĂ©es dans le paysage commercial de la nĂ©phrologie ou du fer IV
  • Une expĂ©rience au niveau du listing au formulaire hospitalier et en dĂ©veloppement de protocoles est un atout (comprĂ©hension de l'Ă©cosystème hospitalier)
  • Une expĂ©rience en hĂ©matologie, nĂ©phrologie, gynĂ©cologie, cardiologie ou gestion de la conservation du sang est un atout (connaissance du domaine thĂ©rapeutique)
  • Pour le poste de Chef rĂ©gional des ventes - Est du Canada : Un français (parlĂ© et Ă©crit) de haut niveau est indispensable et le candidat doit ĂŞtre fonctionnel en anglais (parlĂ© et Ă©crit)
