As AI systems evolve to incorporate agentic architectures and non-language modalities new challenges arise in ensuring their reliability and efficiency at scale. This internship will focus on foundational research and engineering to support the next generation of AI workloads combining observability benchmarking and optimization across diverse model types and deployment environments.
We invite applications from candidates interested in the following areas:
* Techniques for making agent behavior observable and interpretable across modalities.
* Defining and leveraging key performance and reliability metrics to guide agent behavior and improve system robustness.
* Optimizing serving and orchestration of multi-modal modals in cloud-native environments
This work sits at the intersection of AI infrastructure responsible innovation and system design offering the intern a unique opportunity to contribute to frameworks and tools that enhance the robustness efficiency and scalability of complex AI Β systems.
