Key Responsibilities • Perform a wide range of residential construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, tile work, cabinet setting, painting, and flooring installation • Read and follow construction drawings and project specifications • Install doors, trim, baseboards, cabinetry, and hardware with accuracy and attention to detail • Handle basic plumbing and electrical fixture replacements under supervision • Maintain dust barriers and safe work practices, particularly in occupied homes • Keep job sites organized, safe, and clean at all times • Assist with loading/unloading materials, demolition, and preparation work • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and subcontractors • Follow safety protocols and adhere to applicable codes and standards Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential construction or remodeling • Proficiency in carpentry and finish work; multi-trade experience preferred • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and scopes of work • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in interior finishes • Good communication skills and customer service mindset • Must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and appropriate tools • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or in varying weather conditions • High school diploma or GED preferred Preferred Skills • Fine finish carpentry and custom cabinetry installation • Drywall hanging, taping, and finishing • Tile setting and waterproofing techniques • Interior and exterior painting • Light plumbing and electrical knowledge • Built-ins and millwork installation • Experience with older home renovations Benefits • Medical and dental insurance • Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave) • Volunteer time off (VTO) • Per diem for travel assignments • Mileage reimbursement • Paid training and certifications • Tool replacement program • Bi-weekly pay schedule • Referral bonus program • Safety gear provided • Annual company trips and team-building events Schedule • Full-time, Monday to Friday • Occasional overtime or weekend work based on project needs Location • Hybrid: Based in the greater Sacramento area, with travel to local and regional job sites • Must be able to work on-site at residential properties; per diem available for travel projects Equal Opportunity Statement Amarant Design and Build Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
