Retail Operations Associate

Location: West Hollywood, CA On-Site Full-Time Looking for warehouse experience, prior client-facing roles, and experience lifting heavy items. Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Showroom Operations Associate/Rug Handler to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that rugs are handled, stored, and shipped with the utmost care. The ideal candidate will have experience in awarehouse environmentand a strong commitment to maintaining high standards in quality, efficiency, and safety. Job Requirements:  Rug Handling and Storage: o Safely handle, roll, and store rugs according to company guidelines. o Inspect rugs for quality, including checking for damage, discoloration, or defects before storage and shipping. o Use appropriate equipment, such as cherry picker, pallet jacks or dollies, to move rugs and related materials within the warehouse.  Order Fulfillment: o Accurately pick and pack rugs according to customer orders. o Ensure proper labeling and documentation for each shipment. o Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed.  Inventory Management: o Assist with regular inventory counts and audits. o Track and record the movement of rugs within the warehouse using inventory management software. o Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the Warehouse Manager.  Maintenance and Organization: o Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and free of hazards. o Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. o Assist with maintaining equipment and promptly report any issues to the management. Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a rug or textile setting, is a plus.  Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.  Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.  Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.  Cherry Picker experience is a plus.
