Job Title:Revenue Accountant
Location:West Hollywood, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation:$38.00-$43.00 hourly
Our client, an entertainment company located in West Hollywood, is looking to hire a Revenue Accountant on a temporary to hire basis. The Revenue Accountant will be part of the finance team and help drive accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Prepare and review revenue journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with ASC 606.
•
Analyze contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
•
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Operations teams to understand deal terms and billing schedules.
•
Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing and collections.
•
Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes, including revenue accruals and variance analysis.
•
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
•
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline revenue accounting operations.
•
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all revenue-related transactions.
Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
•
2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment, media, or tech industry.
•
Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
•
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and billing platforms.
•
Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large data sets and pivot tables.
•
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Pay Details:$38.00 to $43.00 per hour
