**Job Description: Sales and Business Development Manager**
**Position Overview:**
As the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will report directly to the General Manager of Sales and Marketing and collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and customers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales acumen, business development expertise, and a knack for building strong relationships. This role requires versatility, strategic thinking, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Business Development:**
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand our client base and market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and vendors.
2. **Sales Management:**
- Lead the sales team in achieving revenue targets and KPIs.
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to maximize business opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to sales representatives in closing deals and managing client relationships.
3. **Relationship Management:**
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and vendors to foster loyalty and retention.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
4. **Networking:**
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand professional network and generate leads.
- Represent the company at client meetings, presentations, and business negotiations. - Engage in networking activities, including entertaining clients via dinners and events, as necessary.
5. **Market Research and Analysis:**
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and emerging trends.
- Utilize insights to develop targeted strategies and offerings to meet client needs.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus. - Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles, with a minimum of [510] years of experience.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in networking and building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in the [financial/agriculture/digital] is preferred.
- Willingness to travel and entertain clients as needed.
- Must be comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
