Job Description
The Market Development Representative is responsible for territory development and lead generation for WellSky’s top of funnel marketing activities. Scope of position includes building internal and external relationships with Regional Account Representatives on prospecting new opportunities, identifying and targeting cold sales leads, and converting them to warm leads.

A Day in the Life!
Key Activities:
- Conduct research on pre-qualified and non-qualified web leads, incoming sales calls, and referral program leads
- Provide software solution advice to pre-qualified and non-qualified leads and obtain more information about them
- Identify and contact registered attendees of WellSky-sponsored events to schedule demos
- Contact non-attendees to set up a private demonstrations with an account representativeÂ
- Assist in calling registered attendants of conferences and industry events, gathering more information about them, and inviting them to WellSky-sponsored events
- Work with account executives with any regional-specific outreach projects (i.e. letters and call campaigns)
- When applicable, up-sell additional products and services to existing client base
- Assist the sales leaders, when needed, with administrative tasks

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and work autonomously to complete weekly goals
Do you stand above the rest?
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in direct software or healthcare information technology software sales support
- Experience with Salesforce
