Conviva is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our Real Time Operational Data Platform, who will report to our Customer Success Engineering Manager, Dubai-based required. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pre-sales and post-sales or technology consulting in measurement and analytics solutions. They will act as a trusted advisor for strategic clients in the whole sales cycle, pre and post sales, leading complex problem-solving and integration initiatives across a diverse set of user groups, ready to interact and have technical discussions with data scientists and engineers, then demonstrate the value of Conviva in business discussions with company executives.  

The goal is to enable our customers to become successful and enthusiastic Conviva champions. As a customer-facing technologist, the candidate must have excellent communication, organization, sales oriented and interpersonal skills. 


What Success Will Look Like: 

  • Leverage your breadth of technical knowledge and function as subject matter experts in both pre and post sales environments as well as advanced consulting engagements. 
  • Discover and analyze individual customer goals and challenges and map those back to Conviva’s suite of solutions. 
  • Answer technical questions from prospects and customers regarding Conviva technology, features, solutions, and applications, as well as articulate Conviva technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. 
  • Sales oriented mindset, proactivity, and sense of urgency. 
  • Thought leader, participating in industry bodies and growing Conviva’s own body of knowledge. 
  • Support Sales and Corporate Development globally on all Operational Data Platform opportunities through full project lifecycle. 
  • Evangelize the value of Conviva’s solutions and help our clients extract maximum value from our services. 
  • Become a trusted advisor for the customer and help define their integration strategy. 


Who You Are & What You've Done: 

  • 7+ years of experience in a client-facing Pre-Sales and Post-Sales technical roles in measurement/data/application analytics solutions and SaaS 
  • Strong experience of leading or conducting meetings and presentations to senior executives and mixed technical and non-technical customers. 
  • Knowledge/Expertise in Observability, APM, Digital/OTT Video delivery infrastructure and ecosystems. 
  • Ability to analyze and digest data to tell a cohesive story and high capacity to learn new technology/terminology/products. 
  • Comfortable balancing the intersection of technology and business challenges. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks while managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills, strong presentation skills, and writing skills. 
  • Experience with data mining and visualization to see beyond the numbers and enable customers to operationalize our data for strategic planning and tactical root-cause analysis is a BIG PLUS. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region. 
  • Desirable: Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, Snowflake, New Relic. 
  • Desirable: Arabic speaker.
