Salesforce Administrator & Developer

Job Title: Salesforce Administrator & Developer Location: Colleyville, Texas / Hybrid Department: Technology Reports To: Chief Info Officer Employment Type: Full-time Annual Pay: $135,000+ (Based on experience) About the Role We are seeking ahighly technical Salesforce Administrator & Developerwithhands-on MuleSoft integration experienceto architect, enhance, and maintain our Salesforce ecosystem in a secure, regulated financial services environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels atbuilding scalable Salesforce solutions,designing robust API integrations, and ensuring platform security and compliance. You will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and business partners to drive enterprise-wide connectivity between Salesforce and critical external services. Key Responsibilities Platform Administration & Governance • Manage user access, roles, permission sets, and data security with a strong focus on regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR, FINRA). • Perform regular platform audits, security reviews, and performance monitoring. • Ensure adherence to IT policies, data protection standards, and audit requirements. Salesforce Development & Customization • Design and implement scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows. • Develop custom automations and triggers to support financial processes such as dealer onboarding, client credit applications, and transaction workflows. • Build advanced reporting and dashboards to support financial metrics and regulatory reporting. MuleSoft Integration & API Development • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Salesforce, enterprise systems, and external services using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. • Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and performance. • Implement API-led architecture patterns to support data synchronization with our enterprise platforms, external partner systems, and analytics platforms. • Monitor and optimize MuleSoft flows for reliability, auditability, and high availability. Data Integrity & Governance • Establish and enforce data quality and validation standards to maintain clean and reliable data. • Collaborate with the development team to align Salesforce data with enterprise master data management strategies. • Implement data retention and audit procedures in line with financial regulations. Release Management & DevOps • Own the release management lifecycle, including sandbox strategy, deployment automation, and version control. • Use CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket, Gearset) to promote code across environments securely. • Enforce development best practices through peer reviews and documentation in Jira. Collaboration & Support • Partner with business units to translate financial and regulatory requirements into technical solutions. • Act as a technical subject matter expert for Salesforce and MuleSoft. • Provide technical documentation and support for audits, security reviews, and production operations. Qualifications Required: • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience in a financial or regulated environment. • Proven experience designing and building integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. • Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, Flows, and API integrations. • Solid understanding of Salesforce security model, data model, and compliance controls. • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control. • Salesforce Administrator certification (Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator). • MuleSoft certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1) or equivalent hands-on expertise. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred: • Salesforce Developer certification (Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or higher). • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, FINRA, GDPR) and data security best practices. • Familiarity with microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architecture.
