We are currently seeking a dedicatedSous Chefto join our team and assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and help craft unforgettable meals through our personalized dining experience. Our team will work in a fun interactive environment, while ensuring all nutritional needs of residents are met. Job Responsibilities:SOUS CHEF
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to manage daily kitchen operations, including menu execution, prep, service, and staff supervision.
• Assist in designing and preparing meals that balance flavor, creativity, nutrition, and resident preferences, helping to craft an unforgettable dining experience.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, communication, and a positive, resident-focused environment.
• Contribute to seasonal menus, themed dining events, and special resident requests.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control while addressing challenges with professionalism, composure, and critical thinking.
• Step into the Executive Chef’s role when needed, demonstrating dependability, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
• 2+ years culinary experience in a leadership role (Sous Chef, Lead Cook, or higher).
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions, texture-modified diets, and nutrition guidelines a plus.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.
• Passion for delivering high-quality food with creativity and care.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain).
Schedule & Availability
This is afull-time leadership roleaveragingaround 45 hours per week. Unlike traditional restaurants, our evening shifts wrap up earlier, giving you more work-life balance. Shifts may include:
• Morning
• Evening
• Weekends
