In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design code implementation testing and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Expertise in Salesforce CRM Applications: Assist clients in the design business architect process development functional implementation and support of Salesforce CRM Applications.
- Collaborative Solution Architecture and Requirement Detailing: Collaborate with business consultants project team and client resources in defining detailing and scoping the technical requirements into solution architecture.
- Proficient Development and Integration: Contribute to the design and development of Apex triggers Lightning Component Framework apps visual force/lightning pages and API based integrations.
- Continuous Learning and Growth:You'll have access to technical and management training courses to grow your expertise within Salesforce and other areas of interest.
- Proven experience in Salesforce development using Flow Builder Apex Visual Studio GitHub SFDX and Eclipse/Force.com IDE with proficiency in LWC and Visualforce.
- Strong understanding of CRM principles and experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications ensuring compliance with data security privacy and energy-sector regulations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into optimized technical solutions for service processes (case management work order management scheduling and mobile workforce enablement).
- Advanced leadership communication and problem-solving skills including mentoring junior developers conducting code reviews and producing technical documentation.
- English proficiency at C1 level and commitment to staying updated on Salesforce releases and innovations particularly in service and field operations.
Background in the energy utilities or infrastructure sectors.
Familiarity with asset lifecycle management outage management or mobile field operations.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
Proficient in using Data Loader Tool.
