SAP Inventory Management (IM) Functional Consultant

Introduction

You will use a mix of consultative skills business knowledge and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients’ business environment and achieve business results.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP’s SAP requirements and design as well as SAP configuration and deployment expertise. This position requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP functional areas especially the IM modules. Required experience includes designing/configuring business processes in SAP IM. May supervise others.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 10 years of SAP experience. Has Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area including IM (Inventory Management).
• Strong organization and communication skills. Has and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.
• Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• 5+ years IM experience
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
• Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP IM/WM modules (in a Tier 3 environment)
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills
