In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Senior Managing SAP Consultant you will act as a client-facing practitioner responsible for selling leading and implementing SAP offerings with a deep understanding of SAP systems. You will serve as a trusted business advisor collaborating with clients to deliver innovative solutions that address their most complex business challenges. This role requires expertise in SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent frameworks along with associated work products.
You will lead projects that help clients integrate strategy processes technology and information to improve operational effectiveness reduce costs and enhance profitability and shareholder value. Additionally you will participate in business development activities contribute to proposal creation and have opportunities to acquire new skills work across disciplines and gain a comprehensive understanding of diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic SAP Solution Leadership
Drive the technical design development and implementation of SAP solutions that prioritize simplicity scalability and maintainability while meeting client requirements.
* Team Delivery Leadership
Lead and manage high-performing teams of SAP consultants to ensure timely on-budget and high-quality delivery of work products.
* Comprehensive Solution Delivery
Engage in strategy development and solution implementation leveraging your SAP functional expertise and applying industry best practices with the latest technologies. * Lead the delivery of complex SAP projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards.
* Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with global stakeholders.
* Develop internal SAP capabilities including training plans and growth strategies.
* Oversee execution and enforce best practices in delivery.
* Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition teams.
* Act as the escalation point for resolving critical risks and issues.
* Proven senior-level experience in SAP project management and team leadership.
* In-depth knowledge of SAP and the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
* Strong skills in KPI management.
* Experience working in global and multicultural environments.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
