What You'll Get To Do:
CACI seeks an experienced SAS Developer to contribute to a high-functioning development team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a SAS developer. As part of Agile SCRUM team supporting our client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this position will interface with multiple subject matter experts and as such the developer must be well-organized with solid communications skills.
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to do analysis and make code changes to the SAS
- Monitor performance, resolve design and/or code issues
- Perform unit, system, integration, usability, load, parallel, performance, and volume testing, to ensure software performs to an appropriate level of satisfaction
- Perform development-level testing and writing unit tests
- Working closely with the agile team (project managers, SCRUM leads, developers, testers, UI developers)
- Uses modeling tools and repositories to define data and business process requirements effectively and efficiently
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Perform quality control on final reports
- Proactively annotate SAS code
- Manages connectivity to data sources
- Work with management to prioritize data needs
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, R. etc. - ability to write SAS code and use in a working context)
You'll Bring This:
- Knowledge of SAS (9.4 and up) - understand SAS basics, familiar with proc mean, proc sort, and merges
- Ability to read and write and modify complex SAS programs for reporting; any experience with macros is a plus (BASE SAS programming; SAS Macro programming)
- Experience with SQL (any database)
- Must be able to write and run moderately complex queries using JOINs; experience with SQL server helpful but not mandatory
- Experience with Azure GIT Repository and/or writing SAS code using Databricks Notebook is a plus
- XML - any experience is helpful but not mandatory
- Highly prefer five plus (5+) years of relevant experience
- Must be able to obtain a NACI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent plus a minimum five years of related work experience

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
