About The Role: We’re looking forSeasonal Retail Sales Associatesto join our team for a limited-time opportunity at the campus bookstore. In this role, you’ll interact directly with students, faculty, and fans—delivering excellent customer service while supporting the daily operations of the store. Tasks may include running the register, stocking shelves, processing online orders, and assisting during special events. This seasonal position typically lasts anywhere from a few days up to 90 days, depending on store needs. Availability for occasional weekend shifts and flexible scheduling (openings, mid-day, or closings) is required. What You Do: • Operate the cash register and process transactions (cash, credit, or financial aid) • Stock shelves, organize and price merchandise, and help with in-store displays • Fulfill and pack online orders for shipping or pickup • Support bookstore operations during key events (e.g., graduation, athletic events) • Create a welcoming, helpful environment for all customers and team members • Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations You will be a great fit if you are: • Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused • Professional in both appearance and behavior • A team player who enjoys working in dynamic, fast-paced settings • Comfortable multitasking and adjusting to changing priorities • Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance • Willing to work weekends as needed • Experienced in retail or customer service (preferred) Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods (with or without accommodation) • Comfortable with basic computer use and math skills • Capable of prioritizing tasks and staying organized in a busy environment • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or clerical work is preferred Additional Information: We do not offer sponsorship for this position.
