Security Delivery Consultant

Introduction
IBM Technology Expert Labs Security is looking for a dedicated Security Consultant with solid experience in the security domain particularly with IBM Security products like IBM QRadar and IBM Guardium. This role is designed for professionals who are prepared to take on significant responsibilities in deploying configuring and tuning these leading IBM security solutions for our Expert Labs customers. This customer-facing position offers an excellent opportunity to engage with advanced security technologies and be part of a dynamic team.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Security Consultant your responsibilities will include:

– Overseeing the deployment and configuration of IBM QRadar and IBM Guardium in diverse client environments.
– Integrating IBM QRadar and IBM Guardium with client operational systems including log management network management and compliance reporting systems.
– Assisting clients in developing security strategies and refining operational processes utilizing IBM QRadar and IBM Guardium.
– Conducting security assessments managing data protection and compliance with IBM Guardium and responding to incidents with IBM QRadar.
– Directly engaging with clients to gather requirements understand their security needs and provide tailored security solutions.
– Collaborating with team members on project delivery to ensure alignment with client requirements and overall project objectives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

-Demonstrated written and oral communication skills detail-oriented approach to problem solving
– Good written and oral Language skills
– Understanding of the broader landscape of security technologies including network security data protection and compliance regulations.
– Proven ability to manage and configure security systems within complex enterprise environments.
– Within IBM Sercurity knowledge of the IBM Security portfolio specifically QRadar suite and Guardium suite but other products knowledge are valuable
– Cybersecurity certifications are highly valued
– General knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks
– Knowledge of products within the areas of SIEM Data Protection or Identity Access and Identity Governance are valued
– It would also be taken into consideration experience with Openshift and Kubernetes environment.
