Security Position Summary: The Security position must be a very versatile employee that is focused on servicing the customer while protecting the company’s assets. Security is a highly trained employee that is acutely aware of safety and money protection policies and procedures that are necessary to protect the customer, business and employees that are on property. Essential Job Functions: · Demonstrate a desire to provide customer service to all · Provide leadership in taking care of customer and Team Member concerns · Understand the policies and procedures for the safety and well-being of our customers, facility and employees · Understand, participate and demonstrate in the company’s Emergency policies and procedures · Demonstrate accurate cash handling skills and the ability to follow gaming policies and practices for cash movement · Assist with implementing the property’s monthly marketing plan and communicating the plan with customers and Team Members alike · Become well versed on the benefits and policies of the property’s Jefe Rewards, Slot Club · Assist and aid customers who have questions and concerns on their, Jefe Rewards, Slot Club benefits · Maintain a continual and methodical movement throughout the casino during your shift. By “walking the floor” on a continuous basis the PA will be able to spot safety concerns, as well as, assist customers with any concerns · Make sound and supportive decisions on customer issues that are consistent with the objectives of the business · Understand gaming rules and policies regarding jackpots, taxable payouts and Title 31 transactions · Must be able to work nights, weekend and Holidays · Must be able to stand 95% of shift · Fill out statements on incidents regarding safety or accidents/altercations · Assist soft count team in doing drops · All other duties assigned Qualifications: · Minimum of 21 years of age · Must be able to obtain TAM card, and Gaming License · Knowledge of security protocols · Ability to solve problems · Attention to detail · Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations · Ability to maintain composure during challenging situations · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols · Must pass a criminal background check • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays • Bilingual preferred Physical Requirements: · Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust · Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
