This role involves patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance systems, controlling access to facilities, and responding to emergencies. Key Responsibilities: • Patrol and monitor assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure safety • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other surveillance equipment • Control access to buildings by verifying identification and managing entry/exit points • Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly and appropriately • Write detailed incident and activity reports • Ensure all entry points (doors, windows, etc.) are secure • Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure Requirements: • Valid California Guard Card • Powers to Arrest Certificate (Part A & B) • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods • Reliable transportation to San Jose Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week Benefits: • Health insurance • Referral program Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Evening shift • Holidays • Overnight shift • Weekends only Work Location: In person
