Security Officer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Maywood 2025 Fest August 29th,30th,31st. Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sunday 12:00-11:00pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of property and personnel. Responsibilities • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor. • Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary for investigations or emergencies. • Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential issues. Requirements • Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • A valid security license may be required depending on local regulations.
