As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Thur 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM What You’ll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. • Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularities. • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols. • Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with security-related inquiries and directions while maintaining a visible presence. • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall operation of the location. What We’re Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
