Viostream is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join our product team to build a reliable and secure platform for our customers. Join us to help continually improve our software and help our customers meet their goals.
The role:
A Senior .NET Engineer is a key member of our product team that is responsible for delivering best in class video hosting and delivery platform. This critical role involves maintaining and enhancing our current SaaS platform.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in secure coding practices and will be proficient in understanding and building distributed systems. The ability to promote the use of best practices and maintain excellent technical documentation is a key attribute to this role.

You are personable and relatable, with hands-on experience in software-as-a-service platforms. Bonus points for experience in video streaming and/or transcoding.

Essential Skills and Experience
- 5+ years C# .NET experience
- 3+ years SQL experience MSSQL, Postgres
- Expertise with JavaScript / CSS (Vanilla JS, Bootstrap)
- Strong experience with developing applications on AWS
- Strong experience with unit testing (xUnit)
- Strong experience with building / managing front end application frameworks (Vite, Rollup)
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Commercial experience using Svelte JS
- Commercial experience using distributed application frameworks (Mass Transit)
- Experience with manipulation of video at scale (video transcoding / re-mixing / editing)
- Experience with mission-critical video live streaming
- Working in a high-performing scrum environment
