Job Description
Ibotta is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Research & Insights to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. You will be able to work directly with many of the largest and most innovative CPG, retail and service organizations in North America while gaining experience working across a wide variety of different research applications. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Develop relationships with key prospects such as C-level executives, consumer insights professionals, market researchers, brand managers and advertisers across a wide range industries [e.g. CPG; Retail; Beer, Wine & Spirits; Service, DTC etc.]
- Beat annual revenue targets through the development, advancement, and closure of partnerships [e.g. execution of new businesses and / or expansion of existing business]
- Develop and deliver sales presentations that educate prospective clients on Ibotta’s value proposition, roadmap, and partnership opportunities considering which products would best suit the client’s needs
- Ensure high retention of existing accounts through upselling and education around new product enhancements
- Collaborate with Ibotta's Product, Account Management and Marketing teams to build, market and manage industry leading consumer insights products

What we are looking for:
- 5-7 years of consumer insights experience, preferably focused on CPG Market Research
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Technical Skills: G Suite, Looker, Salesforce
- Sales experience preferredÂ
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients or stakeholders required
- In-depth knowledge of research methodology and how to apply research to answer business questions
- Ability to stay organized in a fast paced environment
- Expert negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close the deal
- Great analytical skills: ability to measure the results of your work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (candidates do a mock pitch as part of the hiring process)
- Flexibility, accountability, resourcefulness, to work with little direction in a fast-paced startup environment

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
- Expected total compensation for this role with on-target earnings is $130,000-$150,000 with a base compensation range between $60,000-$75,000. Employees in this role are eligible for accelerators, which may increase the on-target earnings. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.Talk to your recruiter to learn more.
