What You’ll Own: • End-to-end AP, AR, and billing (non-outsourced) • Weekly payroll processing and journal entries for multiple companies • Bank and credit card transaction posting with accuracy and audit-readiness • Month-end close, year-end close, and financial reporting support • Hands-on QuickBooks Online usage and documentation • Help consolidate financials across entities • Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Spot and streamline inefficiencies in accounting systems or internal controls What You Bring: • 5+ years of accounting experience (healthcare or service industry preferred) • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Strong QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel skills • Solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting • The ability to own your workflow — no micromanagement here • Comfort with fast-paced environments, shifting priorities, and hands-on execution Ideal Candidate Traits: • Thinks in systems and sequences, not silos • Confident in making decisions when data is clear • Maintains calm control under pressure — never sloppy, never rushed • Obsessed with accuracy, but not at the cost of momentum • Able to spot a discrepancy before the system does • Values clarity, deadlines, and doing things right the first time Why PHS? • A mission-driven home health provider that’s growing fast • Direct access to leadership, real impact on the business • A tight-knit, accountable culture — no fluff, just results • Opportunities to optimize systems, not just run them This role is for the accountant who doesn’t need to be reminded twice.
