Senior Accountant

We are searching for a full-time senior accountant to join our Client Accounting & Advisory team and assist in servicing our government client in the North Shore Chicagoland area This role will be based 100% on site at the client location. Essential job duties: • Prepare general ledger entries • Accounts payable/receivable • Utility Billing • Perform bank reconciliations • Assist with preparing financial statements • Prepare government-required reports • Advise clients on internal accounting matters • Assist with Audit preparation • Complete appropriate compliance reporting Position Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required • CPA or actively pursuing a license • 3-10 years of general accounting experience required • Government/Municipal accounting experience preferred • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed • Strong organizations skills and detail-oriented • Highly motivated, self-starter EOE/M/F/D/V/SO
