Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description

Summary

We are actively recruiting an onsite Senior Automation Engineer to lead our project design efforts engaging with process engineers, vendors, and developing validation testing.

You will be the project leader and primary point of customer contact regarding concept design, and automation and validation planning through execution.

Responsibilities

• Define and scope project parameters and validation plans.
• Lead the automation validation strategy with the Validation and Quality Teams. with an efficient and achievable approach and not overly conservative or onerous to execute.
• Lead the collaboration of all teams with consistent communications, plans of actions and planned deliverables.
• Deliver presentation to engineers and non-engineers regarding current status, deliverables, and plan of action.
• Lead technical discussion, planning, and implementation of Siemens Desigo, Ignition, Sartotius Bioreactors, Cytiva Bioreactors, Thermo Fisher.

Requirements

• 8+ years minimum of automation experience
• Technical automation knowledge of Siemens Desigo, Ignition, Sartotius Bioreactors, Cytiva Bioreactors, Thermo Fisher
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or technical equivalent
• Automation project management experience from inception through implementation
• Strong customer facing experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability for thought-out decision making and execution
• Ability to present milestones and plan of action using PowerPoint to diverse audience, engineers and non-engineers
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have but not required

• Master of Science in Engineering or technical equivalent
