Job Description
Adree is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the automation testing scope across squads, fully automating applicable test cases, developing and executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results and resolving findings, and reporting defects. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of testing estimates within the assigned squads for automation activities.
- Develop test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals and objectives.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications.
- Execute test cases, record and analyze test results, and report defects.
- Implement and maintain regression test suites to verify software changes do not introduce new issues.
- Identify and document defects, discrepancies, or deviations from quality standards.
- Create detailed defect reports with clear information about the issues found.
- Execute test cases and test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of IT solutions.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that changes or updates do not introduce new defects.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control activities, test results, and defect reports.
- Generate and update test plans and test cases as needed
- Collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve defects.
- Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
- Communicate effectively to ensure a clear understanding of quality requirements and issues. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality control process.
- Suggest and implement improvements to testing methodologies and procedures.
- Ensure that IT products and solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Stay updated on relevant quality control standards and best practices.
- Assist in UAT planning and coordinate UAT activities with endusers or business stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 4-5 years of experience in automation testing
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)
- Experience in programming
- Strong knowledge of frontend and backend testing
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and UFT
- Arabic language proficiency is required
- Extensive hands-on experience in automation testing
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Familiarity with agile methodology
