Senior Backend Developer – Focus Identity (x|f|m) - Hybrid

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer – Focus Identity (x|f|m) for our IT Software Development & Innovations department.
Are you an experienced backend developer who is passionate about driving security in software development? Join Sartorius in this key position and lead the implementation and improvement of our identity and access management systems. You will take technical leadership ensuring best practices are followed while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create value for users.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

• You will make an important contribution to our applications focusing on identity and access management

• This includes implementing identity management end-to-end and defining architectural standards and best practices

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs and application functionality

• This includes creating and implementing robust technical designs to enhance existing applications and drive new developments

• You will collaborate with developers and product owners to implement solutions and create value for users

• Participating in code reviews and peer programming sessions to maintain high coding standards and best practices rounds off your responsibilities

What will convince us

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, engineering or a related field

• This is complemented by several years of proven experience in software development, as well as an extensive portfolio of successfully completed projects

• In-depth understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and containerized applications

• Experience in implementing and running scalable micro-service architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Expertise in identity and access management solutions like Okta or Keycloak, and frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML

• Familiarity with continuous deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, ADOS) and infrastructure as code (IaC) via Terraform is a plus

• You understand and practice agile software development and DevOps culture

• You describe yourself as a team player to identify and implement the best solution together with your team

• Fluent English skills round off your profile
