Senior Brand Designer

Your Role 

As an Experienced Brand (Graphic) Designer at Gensler, you will tap into your boundless creativity to design unique environmental experiences across a diverse media landscape. You are passionate about helping clients enhance their brand and business performance through design, and adept at developing creative, up-front design concepts. What You Will Do 

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects and designers to design graphics, branded environment, signage and wayfinding solutions that connect people to place for diverse client projects 
• Conduct research for the organizational, cultural and physical context surrounding a project 
• Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients 
• Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two and three-dimensional built environments 
• Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD, print, or digital applications 
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to design visual identities, graphics, print collateral, digital communications, branded environments, signage and wayfinding solutions for diverse client projects 
• Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries 
• Facilitate great design results by cultivating and maintaining positive client and team relationships 
• Perform as point of contact on projects for clients, vendors, and teams 
• Manage multidisciplinary project team workload for multiple projects 
• Create and manage project scopes, budgets and workplans 
• Assist in the development of proposals and collaborate in the strategic development of new business 

Your Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field 
• 7+ years of professional experience in graphic design, print/digital design, or similar studio experience 
• 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to read architectural construction documents and shop drawings 
• Totally client- and team-oriented, knows how to balance demands for time and resources 
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills 
• Experience in marketing, writing and delivering proposals for project work 
• Ability to perform innovative qualitative research to generate ideas, concepts, and POV 
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop – very strong Adobe skills are required 
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines 
• Comfortable in internal and external client facing situations 
• Familiarity with CAD and Revit preferred
