Senior C/C++ Software Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior C/C++ Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development of high-performance distributed storage systems for enterprise environments, contributing to design, optimization, and architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of distributed storage systems, driving design and optimization
• Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance meet industry standards
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to steer the development process and achieve project objectives
• Identify performance bottlenecks in code and optimize for multi-core and scale-out use cases
• Lead the design and implementation of high-performance distributed storage systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed environments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and best practices

Requirements

• Proven expertise in C or C++ programming and strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting in distributed environments
• Proficiency in developing fault-tolerant and high available distributed systems
• In-depth understanding of distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency, and RPC
• Experience in software development for Linux/Unix platforms
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl, and Bash
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience in writing and debugging kernel-level code
• Knowledge of computer networking technologies and protocols
• Familiarity with Virtual File System (VFS) and memory management in Linux kernel
• Expertise in storage technologies and high-performance networking
• Extensive knowledge of distributed algorithms and protocols
