Senior Cobol Developer

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design code implementation testing and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

• Drawing up analysis tests and detailing the changes / developments given to the application
• Troubleshooting bugs detected in system operation
• Ensuring the necessary data transfer between applications
• Analyzing system and creating applications for system quality development
• Managing and developing Mainframe Applications

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience in COBOL programming (minimum 4 years)
• Experience with Mainframe JCL DB2
• Experience in proposing / designing technical solutions
• Experience in creating technical specifications
• Experience in drafting / implementing the test plan
• Good English skills

• Creative problem solving skills and excellent troubleshooting / debugging skills
