Position Overview:
The Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer is a well-rounded subject matter expert on many of our plant business processes and systems. This role is the site lead for Process Control & Test, Change Management, SharePoint, Excel Tools, and Power BI. The BPE will also take on some project management responsibilities and must be comfortable with organizing and leading meetings/projects. This role must be at least an intermediate programmer, comfortable in the .NET framework & SQL database development.

In this function you will:
- Act as the site lead for Power BI, Excel VBA Tools and SharePoint
- Support continuous improvement by leading Business Process Improvement (BPI) Events
- Lead and support CI events such as VSM, 5S, Standard Work and Rapid Improvement Events to achieve factory cost-out targets
- Drive sustainable practices related to software development lifecycle (unit testing, refactoring, documentation, etc.)
- Lead and implement projects utilizing industry 4.0 technology
- Support the front end of the business and help drive process improvements
- Collaborate with MOL and ProLaunch teams to facilitate designs for manufacturing events.
- Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO) for your support area
- Design custom SharePoint, Excel and Visual Studio solutions to support site operations

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering, quality, or continuous improvement experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
- MRP/ERP experience
- Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates living outside a 50-mile radius of the location listed in the job description.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with programming
- Training and experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Tools
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC and related software (Microsoft Office, ERP SAP, AS400, AutoCAD).
- Experience with LEAN concepts/applications such as 5S+, Standard Work and Value Stream Mapping.
- Experience with 8 Wastes walk/elimination and visual management, process checks and deviation tracking methodology.
- Additional knowledge and/or experience leading projects, managing process changes, conducting analysis for root cause identification, and understanding how to identify problems and reach resolutions is beneficial.
