ABOUT THE TEAM

Bestow’s finance team plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organization, from managing and optimizing the company's financial resources to enabling effective decision-making and sustainable growth. Finance comprises various teams, including accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning, providing financial insights and support to facilitate all operations. 

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant who will report to our VP, Corporate Controller. This person would report to our Downtown Dallas Office on a hybrid basis. This role will contribute in the following ways:

• Provide an analytical review of Financial statements
• Monitor and advise on internal controls
• Review trial balances and complete flux analysis and provide detailed explanations
• Manage annual audits including creating and providing audit support to external auditors and reviewing staff workpapers.
• Participate in Annual SOC 1 type 2 control evaluation and reporting
• Support the FPA team to streamline information between departments
• Comply and maintain accounting policies
• Review accounting guidance and drafting of accounting memos

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• You are proficient with Google Apps, Zoom, and online chat/communication tools, as well as Microsoft Office products.
• You have the ability to apply accounting policy to Bestow financial processes.
• You are highly organized, and you pay close attention to detail.
• You are deadline-oriented and analytical thought process.
• You have a basic understanding of Accounting Principles and Control environment
• You have the ability to analyze financial statement fluctuations and communicate effectively.
• Public accounting experience is highly preferred
