We are currently seeking a Senior Data Management Consultant to join our Data & Analytics Team at our Center of Excellence in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
We are looking for accomplished Data Management Consultant passionate to creating business impact using a vast array of data needs across different functions. This portfolio of work will deliver data driven decisions across all critical business functions. It is a critical role and act as backbone to an analytics life cycle, responsible for Requirement gathering, solutioning, documentation, backlog definition, data modeling, data mapping, testing definition and execution, etc. The role requires an analyst enthusiast with strong analytical expertise, very strong in SQL, data modeling, and good understanding of Big Data or cloud data technologies.
What you will do in this role:

  • Interact and engage with functional and technical leads, local business SMEs, Operations SMEs business analysts in getting the requirements and implementing the ETL solutions.
  • Provide technical support to project teams throughout project lifecycle around technology platforms, solution design, security, debugging, profiling, performance tuning etc.
  • Elicit, document, and manage functional requirements, data mappings, creation of ERD, data models, etc.
  • Manage user expectations, changes to requirements and project scope.
  • Testing Automation: Utilize Tosca to define and run test plans ensuring the components meet MetLife expectations in terms of functionality and performance.
  • Ensuring Solution Quality and Reliability: Apply their testing expertise to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of data systems, automated processes, and Power Apps solutions.
  • Conduct Thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT sessions to ensure that automated solutions meet user requirements and expectations, gathering and implementing user feedback to deliver high-value solutions.


To help you succeed, you need to have...

  • BA/BS in Computer Science / Information Systems / Data Science / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years of data analysis in building large scale data warehousing, Business Intelligence or Analytics or project experience in a corporate IT environment preferably in insurance/financial/healthcare industry working in BI Analytics domain/team.
  • Proven experience analyzing and designing solutions for cloud or big data lakes for analytics and reporting purposes.
  • Experience in Data analysis
  • Background on writing SQLs and using other exploratory tools.
  • Experience writing Functional requirements and high-level design documents.
  • Experience in writing validation scripts to validate the data, data integrations and ETL transformations.
  • Analytical skills to analyze situations and come to optimal and efficient solution based on requirements.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Eagerness to learn new technology concepts and art of possible.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences. Must be able to communicate in Spanish and English both verbally and in writing.


It would be very attractive if you also have:

  • Experience in Data Warehouse projects.
  • Experience working on Data Science projects and exposure to data science.
  • Experience in any Data Visualization tools or ETL tools is a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Insurance domain and analytical background will be a major plus.
