Job Overview
For our Lugano Branch (TI) we are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) specialized in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) with in-depth experience managing Oracle databases in a clustered environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Oracle RAC environments, supporting mission-critical applications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Scientific bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably computer science or engineering or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience as an Oracle DBA, with a focus on managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Clusterware, ASM, and Oracle Grid Infrastructure
• Expertise in Oracle database architecture, installation, configuration, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Oracle RMAN, Data Guard, and backup/recovery strategies
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management
• Experience with Oracle versions 12c, 18c, 19c, and above
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting for automation
• Experience with database security, encryption, and compliance requirements
• Solid understanding of SQL and PL/SQL programming for query optimization
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills reinforced by structured problem-solving approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian

Location Requirement:

• We do not offer a fully remote work policy
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
