Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote PT)

Position Description:

• Drive automation initiatives to streamline the deployment, scaling and management of cloud resources
• Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance and maintain IaC best practices, facilitate CICD processes within the SDLC
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance on infrastructure-related challenges. Collaborate with cross functional engineering teams to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives
• Implement and enhance monitoring solutions for our cloud environments including creating alerts, dashboards, and visualizations that allow the identification and resolution of performance and availability issues
• Design, implementation and maintenance of LetsGetChecked cloud environments
• Vulnerability management of containers and EC2 instances to ensure compliance
• Apply configuration changes through established change control management processes
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including text and diagrams for the entire platform
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability of the cloud infrastructure by leveraging SRE best practices. Including Observability, eliminating toil, SLOs, SLIs and SLAs
• Manage, maintain and monitor multiple Kubernetes clusters
• Write and maintain helm charts for our internal services
• Facilitate the transition of EC2-based architecture to a more modern and advanced Kubernetes architecture
