PrizePicks is looking for a Senior Director for Responsible Gaming whose role extends beyond oversight to the development of a comprehensive responsible gaming strategy. This strategy is critical in addressing and reducing harm related to addictive behavior. Central to this role is the ability to orchestrate collaboration with industry stakeholders, addiction experts, and treatment and support organizations, ensuring that our approach to responsible gaming is holistic, informed, and effective.

The Senior Director will be instrumental in integrating these collaborations into our responsible gaming practices, enriching our policies with expert insights and advanced risk assessment tools. Their leadership will enable us to create and implement a proactive and adaptive strategy that aligns with our commitment to player safety and well-being. This role epitomizes our commitment to not just managing but continuously improving responsible gaming initiatives, positioning PrizePicks as a leader in fostering a safe and sustainable gaming environment. This role is remote and will report to the Vice President of Compliance. 

What you’ll do:

  • Enhanced Compliance and Player Safety: Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices, actively engages to reduce problem gaming, and enhances the overall safety of our gaming environment.
  • Strategic Implementation: Oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive responsible play strategies.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Fosters effective collaboration with regulators, business partners, and responsible gaming organizations, positioning PrizePicks as an industry leader in responsible gaming.
  • Enhanced Player Tools and Resources: Manages tools and resources that empower players to make informed decisions and healthier practices. Manage customer risk identification and intervention strategies.
  • Employee Awareness and Training: Manages comprehensive staff training programs, elevating employee understanding and capabilities in identifying and addressing problem gaming.
  • Customer Trust and Brand Integrity: Strengthens customer trust by demonstrating a strong commitment to responsible gaming, thereby enhancing brand integrity and sustainability.
  • Marketing Integrity: Guides marketing efforts to reflect responsible gaming principles, avoiding misleading practices.

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Problem Gaming initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong work ethic with a team-first and competitive mindset.
  • Ability to learn quickly with an aptitude for managing multiple projects across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of responsible gaming policy and regulatory issues that impact fantasy sports.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues simply in writing and verbally for internal and external audiences of varying levels of familiarity within the sector.
  • Open to regular travel for stakeholder meetings, problem gaming conferences, relationship building, and industry events.

Where you’ll live:

 This is a remote role with occasional travel to our HQ in Atlanta.
