Job Description

As a Senior Front-end/UI Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting products and features within CoStar Group's authentication and security platform, as leveraged across major brands such as CoStar, LoopNet, Apartments.com, Homes.com and more. As part of the Platform and Auth Services team, your goal will be to provide a streamlined and approachable user experience to security.

This position is in our La Jolla, CA offices and is a hybrid work role with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. Work weeks with a four 10-hour-day and 3-day weekend schedule are also available, if interested.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with back-end developers to implement security-based flows using a combination of traditional forms and SPAs
• Design and maintain a themeable and customizable UI template to support multiple brands
• Advocate standards-driven technology and best practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies and seek continual improvement and refinement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years professional front-end development experience
• Strong hand-coding ability with JavaScript
• Experience with SPAs and HTML templating libraries
• Fluent knowledge of latest HTML5/CSS3 standards and best practices
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS
• Clear understanding of browser and device differences/limitations
• Experience with browser-based development tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or relevant field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience with storybook development practices
• Experience with design and wireframe tools, such as InVision or Figma
• Experience in the .NET environment a plus
