Senior Impact Associate

You will work directly with the Head of Operations & Impact and in collaboration with the programs and research teams within GIF. The Senior Impact Associate is responsible for developing impact measurement frameworks to support programs in line with GIF’s mission and goals, and implementation of all project monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, including data collection, monitoring, data management and reporting.

What you will do:

• Together with the Head of Operations & Impact, develop strategies for Impact Measurement frameworks to align with GIF’s goals 
• Researching and creating a monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) framework and ensuring quality of baseline data
• Consult with Program Teams to design and implement impact measurement and MEAL into every program and deliver concrete data driven measurement to assess the effectiveness, success and improvements to achieve the long term overall metrics of the foundation
• Support the monitoring of GIF grant awardee projects by co-creating frameworks, data points and reporting periods, facilitating utilization of monitoring data to iterate the projects to achieve the intended outcome and impact
• Development and maintenance of the GIF Impact Platform for holistic data collection and management. Present visualised data and insights resulting from the MEAL measurement on a regular basis 
• Support the development of Annual Impact Report
• Communicate insights to relevant stakeholders
• Cross collaboration with GoTo Impact Lab, our Research Team, to apply fundamentals of our programs to the impact strategy

What you will need:

• 4+ years of experience in impact measurement and non-profit organisations
• Able to develop and maintain monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) frameworks with demonstrated understanding of the concept and practice of developing and implementing activities based on Theory of Change and other impact frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with ability to manage data collection, synthesise large amounts of data and use data analytics tools both quantitative and qualitative (e.g. Google Form, Looker Studios etc)
• Demonstrable track record of stakeholder engagement and management
• Proactive, resourceful, excellent analytical, problem-solving and research skills
• Excellent written & verbal Bahasa Indonesia and English language skills, strong communication and presentation skills
• Keeping up to date with trends and developments in impact measurement frameworks and MEAL methodologies
