POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Senior Integration and Data Engineer at e2open, you will collaborate with key stakeholders, business teams, solution architects, and team members.  Main responsibility is to design and implement API and flat-file integrations and create data lake and data warehouse processes. You will administer, configure, develop integrations and data warehouse processes and transformations. As a member of Integrations and Data Engineering team your contributions will be vital to the success of the organization as we facilitate multi-million-dollar transactions, streamline processes, and create solutions that scale to help our executive leadership make informed decisions. The idea candidate should be a self-starter, inquisitive, passionate about getting things done and done right the first time.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integrations and data warehouse processes between applications across the cloud and/or on-premises using existing platforms.
• Manage, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, document, and support existing processes.
• Adhere to strict deployment methodology including peer review, QA, UAT, and scheduled releases.
• Problem solving and good decision-making skills to quickly overcome obstacles by understanding the appropriate level of urgency and business impact.
• Guide peers and junior engineers to best practice.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and/or Business Stakeholders to find rigorous, scalable, solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into execution using agile methodologies.
• Work support tickets, sprint tasks, and other task/activities as assigned.
• Develop documentation concerning integration process, data mapping, and gap analysis.
  QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• 5 plus years relevant work experience using Boomi. Having experience using other integration applications such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Workato, and SSIS is a plus.
• 4-6 years working with Postman or similar tools.
• 4-6 years working with application APIs using REST, SOAP, and Web services.
• 3-4 years using languages such as java, groovy, c#, and/or python.
• 3-4 years relevant database experience creating tables, views, and stored procedures using MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• 3-4 years analyzing and validating data between systems, presenting results to business stakeholders.
• 2-3 years troubleshooting query performance issues.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks of varying and/or similar priority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
  • Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday.
  • Placing and receiving phone calls.
  • Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel if needed.
