Senior Java Developer

Maxio was born in April 2021 when Battery Ventures invested +$150M to bring together two companies that were each amazing in their own right: SaaSOptics, which streamlined financial operations and analytics for SaaS businesses, and Chargify, the leader in billing and subscription management for B2B SaaS.
Both Chargify and SaaSOptics did amazing work creating must-have tools for CFOs and product leaders. Maxio is seeking a Senior Java developer to be a core part of our team. 

As a member of the team, you’ll work alongside our product team to build features that empower customers to drive and grow their businesses. 

WHAT:
 

• build the product that is one of the leaders in the FinTech market and has its own funds

WHO:
 

• 4+ years of algorithms, data structures and coding experience
• Experience in OOP software development using Java and Spring (preferably with SpringBoot and WebFlux)
• Experience with unit and integration testing (preferably with JUnit, in the TDD mode)
• Practical knowledge of using version control system (preferably Git)
• Good knowledge of design patterns and clean code principles
• Experience with developing REST API
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge and experience in Agile development methodology
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to continuously improve and learn other languages, frameworks, tools, etc.

Nice to have:
 

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with microservices
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with NoSQL
• Unix skills
