Hybrid-based position out of our Westford, MA, Princeton, NJ, NYC, Boston, Portland, ME, Hartford, CT, or Blue Bell, PA office.Â

Your new role
As our new Senior Lead Consultant, you will be part of our interdisciplinary New England team. You will work with all levels of expertise from junior-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job tasks.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
- Conducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersion and analyzing pollution control measures
- Performing statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
- Conducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysis and preparing air quality permit applications
- Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
- Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.
About you
- BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline (chemical, environmental, mechanical, or closely related) or science discipline (atmospheric science, environmental science, chemistry, physics, or closely related).
- 6+ years of relevant air quality permitting and/or air quality compliance experience is required
- Strong mathematical/computational skills including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing and effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills
- Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports;
- Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver’s license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state.

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annual base salary between $90,000 - $117,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, including experience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and skill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
