The Job Details

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Logiwa, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our business forward. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop innovative ML models, and implement solutions that impact our operations and products directly. Your work will contribute to shaping the future of E-commerce FMS Industry through the power of AI and ML technologies.

What you’ll do as a Senior ML Engineer

• Evaluate and Define Solutions: Understand business cases to evaluate potential solutions, leveraging ML and AI to address complex challenges.
• Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyze large, complex data sets to translate them into actionable insights. Simplify data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using analytical and statistical approaches.
• Data Preparation and Preprocessing: Perform the preparation and preprocessing of both structured and unstructured data to ensure model accuracy and effectiveness.
• Model Development and Implementation: Design, develop, implement, and test both descriptive and predictive ML models, focusing on quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Insight Visualization: Convert data into meaningful insights and present information using advanced data visualization tools and techniques.
• MLOps and Model Deployment: Solid experience in deploying models into production environments and familiarity with model management and deployment processes (MLOps).

You’ve Got:

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python and SQL/NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB) for quantitative analysis, modeling, and data manipulation
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS Sage Maker and MLOps practices
• Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms and OOP
• Experience with Big Data Analytics and tools (e.g., Elasticsearch, MS SQL, Tableau) for data analysis and visualization
• Familiarity with model deployment, MLOps practices, and the lifecycle of machine learning models
• Experience with R and OpenCV is highly desirable
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large volumes of data
• A strong desire to continuously learn, improve, and stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in AI/ML
• Innovative and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges from multiple angles
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams

Location & Working Model

We are working in a full remote model. We have physical offices in İstanbul(Ataşehir Nidakule Kolektif House) where team members can get together and work collaboratively on a volunteer basis.
