Senior Manager - Core Systems and Infrastructure

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to oversee our Core Systems and Network Infrastructure team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for managing a team of professionals responsible for the design implementation and maintenance of our core company systems and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management team leadership and project management with a focus on driving operational excellence and delivering business value.

What you'll do:

• Lead and manage a team of technologists responsible for the design implementation and support of core company systems and network infrastructure.

• Develop and implement strategic plans and roadmaps for core systems and network infrastructure to support the company's business objectives and growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that core systems and network infrastructure meet the needs of the organization.

• Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of core company systems including email application instant messaging application company wide ticket system online meeting application cloud storage IAM and other critical applications.

• Manage the design implementation and optimization of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN VPN firewalls switches and routers to ensure reliability scalability and security at a global scale.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards regulatory requirements and best practices for core systems and network infrastructure.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance reduce costs and enhance the reliability and security of core systems and network infrastructure.

• Guide and mentor your team; fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and excellence.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of products and services and maximize value for the organization.

About you:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in information systems and  infrastructure management with a focus on core systems and network infrastructure.

• Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment including coaching guiding and performance management.

• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive results in a complex evolving environment.

• Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL CCNA PMP) are a plus.

• Previous experience working in a start-up environment or fast-paced high-growth company is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and experience implementing controls within core systems and infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

The anticipated salary range for this position is CA$97000-CA$156000. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package depending on the position offered. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence. In addition to base salary some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance employee performance and management discretion.
