What We Need:
2K is looking for a meticulously organized, process-oriented, strategic thinker to play a critical role on the Go-to-Market Planning team for the Core Games business. This role is a linchpin within the marketing organization that will define go-to-market strategy and empower operational excellence for some of the most well-known console and PC gaming IP in the world. We are looking for someone with the analytical confidence to make meaningful decisions and the project management experience to quarterback and empower the execution of go-to-market plans.
Responsibilities:
β Contribute to the development of global marketing plans, bringing meaningful insights that will impact how, when, and to whom 2K games are marketed
β Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams
β Communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
β Be the expert on the nuances of all key territory audiences and insights, with a focus on NAM, APAC, and ANZ
β Act as key stakeholder for Global Marketing Strategy and Creative Services to support development of the best go-to-market plans
β Build strong relationship with Territory and Regional Hub Leads by managing regular status meetings and task trackers
β Project manage the marketing communication and planning processes between Global Marketing Strategy and territory teams (including global and market presentations)
β Work closely with the GTM Director to interrogate existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement with automation and documentation
β Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
β Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams via shared documents including content calendars, messaging plans and go-to-market dates
β Coordinate on-going After Action Reviews for each stage of the campaign to illustrate an understanding of territory performance and opportunities to optimize
β Partner with commercial planning and other cross functional teams to identify business challenges/opportunities and optimize go-to-market plans as needed
β Act as key point of contact and maintain an overview for localisation of assets
Who We Think Will Make A Great Fit:
β 5-7 years of experience in a strategic marketing role
β Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or related field
β Proven success in realizing marketing plans and campaigns, from planning to execution
β Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β Excellent project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
β Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides and data analysis
β Interest and proficiency in process design and automation
β Proficiency with online marketing and go-to-market strategy
β Experience managing a global team
β Experience with marketing automation and insight management platforms
β Experience and interest in the gaming industry
β Agency experience
