Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?

We are Emma – The Sleep Company. Created in 2013, we are now the world's largest D2C sleep brand, available in over 30 countries and recommended by many consumer associations in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas. We're pushing the boundaries of technology to transform the world of sleep and we want your help to pull it off.

We're a highly ambitious, hard-working team that pushes you to produce your best work yet. We focus on how we approach problems, we chase growth, and set ambitious goals. Want your ideas to have an impact and your career to grow? Then Emma is the right place for you.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Research and Development team.

You’ll collaborate with different teams, transforming brilliant ideas into top-tier, mass-production ready products. You’ll dive deeply into complex testing setups to understand the influence of production aspects on product performance, while continually enhancing ongoing processes.

Positioned at the core of our Product Team, you'll have a direct impact on driving Emma's exponential growth. 🚀

What you´ll do:

  • Focus on guaranteeing the highest quality in mass production-ready products, mitigating issues related to production and engineering.
  • Work with teams across the globe, serving as a crucial link between engineers, project managers, scalability teams, and R&D units within our supplier network.
  • Collaborate closely with international suppliers to ensure seamless integration and compliance with production standards.
  • Actively participate in the R&D department to drive innovation and optimize product design for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization: pursue new knowledge to enhance product compliance with regulatory standards and facilitate economies of scale through component unification.
  • Function as the central knowledge hub within the organization, cultivating a wealth of knowledge across various departments and establishing themselves as the primary point of contact for any product-related inquiries.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: possess a profound understanding of product and testing requirements across diverse markets, ensuring compliance and maintaining product quality.
  • FMEA Procedure: Set up, steer, and continuously optimize the Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) procedure.

Who we´re looking for:

  • You possess extensive expertise in development processes and production procedures.
  • You have 3+ years of extensive experience in production engineering, validation processes, and product portfolio management.
  • You have a proven track record of working with international teams and suppliers.
  • You have strong collaboration skills with operational and R&D teams.
  • You have basic knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • You have excellent problem-solving and process optimization skills.
  • Ability to function as a central knowledge hub and primary point of contact for product-related inquiries.

What we offer:

  • Discounts on our top-notch products for you, your friends and family;
  • Pet-friendly environment, where you can bring your furry desk buddy;
  • The opportunity to collaborate with multinational teams;
  • Learning budget;
  • All the tools you need to grow and ownership from the beginning;
  • Responsibility and decision-making authority from day one—you'll create an impact with new, innovative ideas and help shape our company DNA;
  • Exciting events that aren't just team-building exercises but opportunities to create epic memories – (from theme parties to fun after-work activities such as badminton, table tennis, game nights and more!)
