Senior Python Engineer (Relocate to Malaysia)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer with advanced technical skills to join our team at EPAM Vietnam.
In this position, you'll coordinate a rapidly growing engineering team to build complex systems from scratch. If you have solid Python knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong mindset, you are the one chosen.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions ensuring high performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies
• Implement and maintain APIs, databases, and other backend services, adhering to best practices and industry standards
• Lead end-to-end application deployment processes, including configuration, optimization, and monitoring of infrastructure resources
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components, identifying and resolving issues on time
• Implement (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the software delivery lifecycle
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and trends in backend development, AI, and testing methodologies

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing and designing modern applications in Python
• Strong understanding of end-to-end app deployment processes, including deployment pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with generative AI technologies and frameworks is highly desirable
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing
• Fluency in both written and spoken English (B2)
• Willing to relocate to Malaysia at least 6 months
