As a Senior Python Engineer you will:
- Lead the design and development of complex features and architectural components for our top-notch SaaS application for Data Engineers and Data Managers.
- Drive technical decisions and own end-to-end implementation of sophisticated solutions that monitor data reliability issues in data pipelines.
- Architect and build advanced cloud services using the latest SaaS technology taking ownership of critical system components.
- Lead the development of our Python SDK and spearhead complex integrations with various data monitoring tools.
- Thoroughly learn and drive integrations with the most cutting-edge technologies in the data world such as DataStage StreamSet Snowflake Fivetran Airflow DBT Spark Control-M and more.
- Design and lead the implementation of our cutting-edge automatic Alerting & Notification mechanism powered by AI Agents that detects data issues in real-time.
- Mentor team members and share technical expertise to elevate the team's capabilities.
- Drive significant business impact by leading technical initiatives and collaborating with your team managers and peers in a stream-aligned team that is driven by clear business KPIs.
- Champion and maintain an awesome engineering culture that emphasizes achieving business goals in a cutting-edge technologies environment.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software development
- Strong expertise in Python development.
- Proven experience in backend engineering working on SaaS production systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects from design to delivery.
- Track record of architecting and implementing sophisticated features in production environments.
- Experience with massive SQL DBs and leading solutions for hard performance issues.
- Experience in working in a high industry standard CICD and development cycle processes.
- Deep experience with designing and implementing a microservices architecture system including different communication patterns such as REST API and event-driven messages.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and conducting technical reviews
- Background in technical leadership roles or leading cross-functional initiatives.
