ROLE

Union Tank Eckstein GmbH & Co KG (UTA) is one of the leading providers for fuel card and mobility services in Europe and is part of Edenred the global leader in payment solutions for corporates. Using the UTA platform, commercial customers are able to refuel via a cashless payment system across 48.000 petrol stations in 40 European countries irrespective of the fuel supplier, as well as to receive further in-transit-related services (toll, repair, etc.).

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

As QA Engineer, you will be working directly with other QA Engineers in challenging implementations to support the whole project by creating tests in Java as closely together with multiple teams to assist them in testing and improving their quality processes.

Position SCOPE:

» Designing and developing test automation framework

» Researching issues in software through testing

» Keeping updated with the latest industry developments

» Contribute to the overall QA strategy and identify areas of improvement

» Ensure knowledge is spread across teams

» Work as “one team” to ensure deliveries are on time and to a high quality

» Take responsibility for the effective resolution of issues as they arise and remediation thereof

• Required skills & profile

Experience

• 5+ years of experience testing on medium/large enterprise implementation projects
• Strong proficiency in understanding business specifications, creating test strategies and designing test plans with clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Knowledge and proficiency in executing functional, regression, integration, performance, API and user acceptance tests for end-to-end system processes, as well as in documenting test case results.
• Working knowledge of test automation of end-to-end process using tools like API testing RestAssured, PostMan Cucumber and mobile automation testing Appium and debugging tools for mobile application.
• Stong knowledge of OOP principles, Java language syntax preferred (Spring Boot essentials are a plus).
• Working knowledge of all phases of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile Scrum, version control software like GIT (AzureDevOps).
• Previous experience of building test frameworks from scratch is highly appreciated
• You can communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing in English.
• Candidates with ISTQB or related certifications are preferred
