Senior QA Engineer (w/m)

For a very ambitious agile-at-scale program (Feature Teams organization), we are seeking talented and ambitious professionals to join our team based primarily in Paris and Bucharest. The program is compound of 200 people focusing on technology and product management.

We are fully embracing Cloud Native capabilities and best practices and operating as a multi-tribe Product team to better serve our customers (Clients, Merchants and Users) and our Edenred employees. We are leveraging Agility at scale principles and are leading the change in establishing “FinTech Product” ways of working for Edenred.

Our platform is operating in Azure and is developed in .NET for the backend and in Flutter and Angular for the frontend. We also have a dedicated team for data and analytics, a UX research and Design team (Figma) and a team dedicated to our CRM (Salesforce).

OUR QA TEAM

Our QA team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the platform, while minimizing the toil for our engineering teams. Its mission today is to act as quality gatekeepers of our products and services, and to continuously improve our processes and tools to deliver value to our customers.

The Quality Assurance community is composed of 20 experienced people engaged within each Tribe and Feature Team or working within the QA Automation team.

QA Engineers in Feature Teams:

• Live the daily life of the Feature Team compound with one Product Owner, a Scrum Master, several Front/back-end developers and Quality Assurance Engineer

• Identify the test perimeter before the start of the development (shift left, 3 Amigos)

• Define the Test Strategy and Test Plan of their team

• Execute test, report bug and ensure their correction

• Automate test scenarios and ensure they stay up to date with the evolution of the platform

• Participate actively in the QA community (Tribe and Program level)

Our testing stack is composed of Jira X-Ray to write and execute our manual scenarios. X-Ray is used also with IntelliJ to implement the automated test. There are executed in Lambda Test with test results pushed to Jira. API testing is managed with Postman and we analyse the logs in Datadog.

QA Automation team:

• Implement the automation framework

• Improve the framework based on the feedback of the Tribes

• Provide the right tools to the QA to help them automate their scenarios.

• Define performance scenarios with the support of business

• Implement and run performance test

• Participate actively in the QA community (Program level)

Our automation stack is composed of Selenium for web, Appium for mobile and RestAssured for API testing. The functions are coded in Java

For performance test, we use Gatling with scenario coded in Java.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be a key player in driving quality across your designated perimeter. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Developers to identify and automate test scenarios

- Defining the automation roadmap on your perimeter having a risk-oriented approach

- Defining Test Strategies and align testing efforts for complex projects involving multiple teams

- Acting as a gatekeeper to ensure the security and reliability of our platform, raising risks in Go/No-Go sessions

- Embracing transversal QA activities and providing support to other QA Engineers within the program

You could be our next teammate if you have:

• 5-8 years of experience in software testing and QA, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies

• Proficiency in automation and manual testing methods, including experience with Selenium, Appium, and RestAssured

• Experience with test case management tools such as Jira Xray, TestRail, or TestLin

• Cross-functional team experience and a diverse background in technology

• Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote or multicultural environment
