Senior QA Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with experience in full-stack automated testing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for both frontend and backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving the automation efforts for APIs, microservices, and front-end applications across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks for testing backend APIs, microservices, and databases using Java/RestAssured or similar tools.
• Design, implement, and execute frontend UI automation tests for web and mobile applications using tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, Maestro, or Appium.
• Create and maintain automated test suites across various platforms, including web, mobile, and backend services.
• Conduct performance and load testing for APIs and services to ensure high scalability and reliability.
• Design and execute integration tests to ensure end-to-end functionality of complex systems.
• Proactively identify automation opportunities and propose technical solutions to enhance testing efficiency.
• Review and analyze requirements, API specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation, with a strong emphasis on full-stack automation in web and mobile projects
• Strong programming skills in Java/JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with automation tools for API/Mobile Application Automation.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and the ability to design automated tests for distributed systems.
• Experience in performance testing tools (Gatling) for testing backend services.
• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues across frontend and backend layers.
• Proven experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar, ensuring smooth and continuous delivery of high-quality software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Maestro or Appium for mobile test automation (Android/iOS).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools and services (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Hands-on experience with Java and test automation frameworks such as RestAssured for backend API testing.
• Expertise in frontend UI automation tools like Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress, or similar
• Banking/ financial domain experience similar.
